It supports communication via ISO and TCP/IP protocols, functions as a PROFINET IO controller or device, and features an integrated 2-port ERTEC 200 switch. The module facilitates S7 communication, fetch/write operations, SEND/RECEIVE via RFC1006, multicast, DHCP, and NTP CPU synchronization. It offers diagnostics capabilities and can be initialized via LAN, with two RJ45 ports supporting 10/100 Mbit/s connections.
