The SINAMICS PM240-2 is a power module designed for variable frequency drive applications. It operates on a 3-phase AC supply of 380–480 V (±10%) at 47–63 Hz. The module supports high overload conditions with a power rating of 5.5 kW (200% for 3s, 150% for 57s, 100% for 240s) at ambient temperatures up to 50°C. For low overload scenarios, it delivers 7.5 kW (150% for 3s, 110% for 57s, 100% for 240s) at temperatures up to 40°C. The unit features an integrated braking chopper, measures 291 x 100 x 165 mm (H x W x D), and has an IP20 protection rating. It is compatible with CU firmware version V4.6 and does not include a control unit or panel.
